The Great Putrajaya Mosque on Water – Malaysia– Hii everyone, still with me to around the world’s best destinations, today we would go across the neighboring country, Malaysia. Just like in Indonesia, there are a lot of beautiful places to come in this country, besides that, there is a similar culture among these countries. We call it as Melayu Culture, Melayu is the original tribe of almost all whole Malaysian Peoples. In Indonesia, Melayu is spread in almost along Sumatera Island. When we talk about Malaysia, ensured you will think about its Capital, Kuala Lumpur, or about the phenomenal twin tower, Genting Highland and more. However, we would not talk about all of those today, except another City, ya, Putrajaya.
Putrajaya is a city in Malaysia, south of Kuala Lumpur, some thought that this city is the Capital of Malaysia replacing Kuala Lumpur. But not, Kuala Lumpur is still the Capital, but the center of governance was moved to Putrajaya City a few years ago. Its name was taken from the first Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra.
There is one iconic place of this City which always crowded by the tourist, that is Putrajaya Grand Mosque or more known as The Putra Mosque. Made from rose-colored granite with a pink dome, It is known for its late 20th-century architecture. It is built at the edge of the artificial lake of Putrajaya and also bordered with The Malaysian Prime Minister office. Also, there is the 3-tiered Putra Bridge is inspired by Iranian architecture, with 4 minaret-type piers overlooking the Putrajaya Lake at surrounding.
As the main mosque in Malaysia, this mosque is so great and majestic, it makes everyone who’s cames feels comfort and wanna spending much time here. With the tropical wheater, it makes you can be here every time without exception. In front of the mosque, you will find the large square with the row of the states flag standing there, as you can see in the following video, what an awesome one, it makes this mosque different from another.
